Add Shimmer to Cards & Scrapbooks

Smooch Spritz adds a splash of shimmer to my note card.  You should see the shimmer in real life.  Blushing Bride Smooch Spritz (125414) is new to the Occasions Mini Catalog. Happy News-A little birdie told me that Stampin' Up! will be delighting us with more smooches in the future.

My typewriter from the You're My Type stamp set (125650) is heat embossed with Pewter embossing powder (124114).  A little note stands ready to be pulled from the typewriter.  It is lifted with Stampin' Dimensionals.  

For the look of fine stationary I used both the Stampin' Up! Adorning Accent embossing folder & the Adorning Accents Edgelits.  Tucked just below my card front is a strip of Blushing Bride Designer Paper.  Adorning Accents Edgelits Video

Technique Corner-Smooch Spritz

• Before each use, shake vigorously until the particles are fully mixed. The sprayer can become clogged if particles get sucked up into the tube.
• Spray in the direction of the arrow on the nozzle top. For best results, spray six to ten inches from your project. For a heavier application of color, spray closer to the project.
• The Smooch Spritz bottles are made of glass. Place the bottles on a towel or cloth to prevent them from rolling and possibly breaking.
• If the ink dries outside of the nozzle, remove the nozzle and submerge it in a household cleaner for 20 minutes. Rinse, replace the nozzle, shake well, and spray.
• I would recommend the Color Catcher (#121093)to catch the excess spritz.  On a side note, Stazon Cleaner did clean up spray that made its to my work table.  Yes, I was in a hurry and didn't use the Color Catcher. Believe me, it wasn't quicker.
• Make sure that you have enough Smooch Spritz on hand to complete your project.   After building up anticipation, my Smooch Spritz can up empty half way around the table at a Stamping Event.  Life can be so humbling.

Hand Crafted with Love

 Plain to Spectacular with the Simply Scored Scoring Tool - The card base is a standard 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" Very Vanilla Base, but there is nothing standard about this masterpiece after my stylus has his way.  For a video tutorial about the Simply Scored Scoring tool Click Here

It's true the PS I love you stamp set is a perfect choice for Valentines day, but it is not limited to just one occasion.  Try the PS I Love You stamp set for Wedding, anniversary, Sweetest Day, and Love You cards.

The matchbox die is large enough to Nest 4 Hershey's Nuggets.  The base is Blushing Bride card stock and the cover is Twitterpated designer paper.

Scrunch Victoria Lace on a strip of Sticky Strip 

Add a couple Twitterpated Designer Buttons with mini glue dots

Stamp your frame and message using the PS I Love You Stamp Set and punch with the Word Window Punch.

The stitches in the pleated ribbon and the stamped stitches of the PS I Love you stamp set compliment each other.

The Fashionable Hearts embosslit die embosses 5 unique patterns. Better yet, they simultaneously cut and emboss these fun hearts.  Pool Party Baker's Twine rounds out our card with a complimentary bow.

Coordinated Card Making Supplies

Making Cards with a coordinating stamp set, embossing folder and edgelit die makes a real statement.  Today's Thank You Card oozes elegance.

The Thanks was stamped with the Outlined Occasions stamp set which I earned for free as a Sale-a-Bration Reward stamp set.  The stitched lines are a terrific match for the stitched line of the Bordering Romance Stamp Set.

The embossed hearts peeking just below the card front  were embossing with the Adorning Accents embossing folder.  Don't forget to emboss you envelope flap too.  The band of raised hearts dance across you envelope saying it all.

Robin's Card Tips

• For perfect placement try embossing just above where you intend to cut your edge.
• Then line-up your Adorning Accent Edgelit just below your embossed image and cut.
• Emboss once again with you Adorning Accent embossing folder just below your cut edge.
• Line up your Bordering Romance Stamp and stamp using Poppy Parade Ink.  How Pretty is that?

Robin's Paper Craft Challenge

• Do you remember yesterday's stretched Fancy Favor bag?  The Everyday Enchantment Designer paper tabs that I removed for my bag were the inspiration for today's Birthday Card.  What's on work area?  Today's Paper Craft challenge-use something left out on your work area or a scrap from your most recent project to inspire a new project.
