50th Birthday Card

C & C 198 003

Happy 50th Birthday is traditionally done in Black & White, and this Crazy for Cupcakes 50th Birthday card is no exception. The sketch is from a SUDSOL Chat & Challenge. I just Love the new Night & Day Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini.

Design Tip: For a pleasing design try mimicing design elements in another way. For instance, on this Happy Birthday card the Boho Blossoms mimic the Scallop Circle, and the 1" "Let Celebrate" circle and the silver eyelets mimic the polka dots in the Night & Day Designer Series paper.

Serene Snowflake Christmas Card

Serene Snowflakes 001

This festive Christmas card was created with the Serene Snowflakes stamp set available now in the Holiday Mini. The verse was taken from the Snow Swirled stamp set. The Real Red Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon give just the right amount of playfulness to the card.

Serene Snowflake is such an elegant stamp set. I can wait to create more project using this set.

Stamping Tip: To create the Real Red Shimmering Snowflakes mix Real Red Reinker with Frost White Shimmer Paint and apply paint to stamp with sponge dauber.

First Rubber Stamping Experience

First Rubber Stamping Experience

Do you remember your first rubber stamping experience? I remember my first Stampin' Up! Workshop and the feelings that it evoked.

Wellness Wishes

The first time that I held a rubber stamp in my hand and touched it to the ink was like magic.

Wellness Wishes

I wanted to stamp again and again.    Hum, impressive. Not at all like stamping address labels.

Get Well Soon with a little bandage. Oh! I get it! That's cute.  What's next?

Watercolor Wonder Crayons

Be Still my beating heart, we get to color with crayons. Mother of six colors with other adult women and likes it.

I loved to color when I was a kid. Wow, matching crayons. Bashful Blue, Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip. That sounds yummy! My, that dog DOES look sick. Add a bit of Chocolate Chip Striped ribbon and I'm done. Impressive. This card is so stinking cute. And Fun, Fun, Fun.

Wellness Wishes 008

What's that she's saying about hosting a Stampin' Up! workshop? Invite my friends and make more cool projects. Hum

Wonder who I would invite? The only ladies I know are soccer Moms and church friends. Wonder if they stamp. That librarian is nice. What about the lady that cuts my hair? Maybe some of my friends are closet stampers. Oh, I could show them my cool card.  Hee, Hee, Hee, I could call it "Life beyond soccer, stamping is fun." No, that's a little over the top.

I must have zoned. What's she saying now? What! She gets PAID to stamp with us? Ooh, LaLa, And she gets a discount on her stamping supplies. I could do this.

Which colors should I get first? The stamp sets are all so cute.

You get the idea. The projects may have changed, but the experience hasn't.

Do you remember the magic of your first rubber stamping experience? If you do, why not share it with others. Host your own private stamping event or take the plunge and become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Either way, give me a call at 419-560-5014. I'd love to get you started.

Happy stamping,
