Rich Autumn Harvest

100_7449

Watercoloring with rich, autumn colors is such a delight.  The pumpkins and leaves on this Autumn Card are fro the Autumn Harvest stamp set.

Autumn Harvest Robin's Stamping & Watercoloring Tips:

  • Watercolor paper is essential for watercoloring. It allows you to get your paper wet without fear of "flaking" paper.
  • Jet Black Stazon Ink will "Stay on" without smearing or bleeding when watercoloring.
  • When watercoloring it's important to blend or meld your colors together.  You'll want both light and shaded spots.  The pumpkins were colored with Peach Parfait, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and a bit of Old Olive.
  • Don't you just love how easy it is to pull a project together when the inks and the papers match.   And, of course, add a bit of coordinating accessories for a professional look.
