So what's your biggest rubber stamping or paper crafting challenge?
Have a fabulous day,

my worse thing that happened to me recently
was I had made five cards( spent lots of time
on each card, for special people) only to learn, I had put my name upside down on the back and on the wrong end of the card. Now that upset me somewhat.

To keep all my Stampin Up! products current. Seems like I just get all my coordinating products purchased and then it's time to start over with new colors.

Using my Big Shot remains my biggest challenge. Although it is easy to use once I figure it out, I often get the wrong tab or plate the first time around. The catalog has the directions in each of the different die sections now which is helpful...but I need to copy and enlarge the directions for each type of die or texture plate (yes, I need a template!)

Coloring is my challenge. I just can't get it right.

That would be frustrating, Sue. Did you try just putting a new back on your card rather than redoing the enter card?

But isn't it exciting getting the new colors, Diana. :)

Oh, but Patty, isn't it convenient to have the pictured chart right on your multi-purpose platform? After all, that's one less thing to find a place for in your crafting studio. Your charts are right there at your finger tips every time you use your Big Shot. Maybe it would benefit you to watch the Big Shots Sandwiches video tutorial.

Jeannie, Are you referring to color coordination or watercoloring?

My biggest challenge is my space in which to stamp. All my supplies are in my bedroom and I have to stamp in the kitchen. Constantly having to go back and forth between the rooms. Ugh!

Techniques are often pretty simple and I am fortunate enough to have a dedicated space in which to stamp...maybe too large of a place...I tend to spread out too much. So, I can't seem to stay organized and I can never find the time to play as much as I would like to. I also have trouble prioritizing my choices when ordering new "toys". I want them all. Darn!

My biggest challenge is being a perfectionist. Sometimes I work on a card or scrapbook layout and think "gee, that stinks, what was I thinking". And often I will redo it. Other times I have so many ideas of what I could do that I often don't manage to get anything done.

Diana, Could you carve out a space for a desk or small table in your bedroom? What about storing your supplies in a pretty cabinet or dresser in your room next to your kitchen?
Posted by: Robin | October 31, 2011 at 06:47 PM
Oh, but you love your toys, Toni! :)
Posted by: Robin | October 31, 2011 at 06:50 PM
Tammy, many people fall into the temptation to redo. Often times if we just set aside the project for a day or two, we can appreciate it more.

I have to agree with just about what everyone else said. I have a hard time with wanting everything in the catalog and then buying the "wrong" one cause I've figured out something new and need the other "something". There's just too many toys to have! Loving every minute of it though.
