Fall means an explosion of colors and textures and is the perfect time to try the Baby Wipe Stamping Technique. This Autumn Get Well Card is off to my neighbor and friend, Carol, who is having surgery today.
Baby Wipe Stamping Technique
- There are several variations of the Baby Wipe Technique, but they all start with a Baby Wipe folded in quarters.
- Next, I applied Cajun Craze, Summer Starfruit and Soft Suede Reinkers.
- In today's sample I applied the Baby Wipe directly to my Card Stock which I cut with the Top Note Die.
- For a variation of this you may apply your wipe directly to a solid image stamp before stamping.
After playing with the Baby Wipe Technique, I then stamped a jumbo of leaf & acorn images with my Gently Falling stamp set in a random pattern using Early Espresso Ink.
From there card making is all about the details. Did you notice that my Soft Suede Background is dry embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder?
Burlap Ribbon, a stitched Summer Starfruit Bow and a Feel Better tag finish out my ensemble. The tag was stamped with the Sassy Salutations stamp set and cut with the Hearts a Flutter Framlelits. For a stylish finishing touch I whipped out my Envelope Liner Framelits and some Soft Suede Designer Paper.
