Walk in the Wild Masculine Card
With 6 Sons and 8 Grandsons, not to mention my Husband, my life has been centered around guys for a long time. So it's important to me to be able to make masculine cards. With its rugged outdoorsy theme, the Walk in the Wild stamp set naturally makes great cards for the fellows.
Have you ever seen a moose in the wild? They're BIG! Such a magnificent animal calls for an oversized card, which also calls for an oversized envelope. My card measures 6" x 4-1/4". Love the sturdy Kraft Paper for larger card bases. You guessed it, I made my custom envelope with the Envelope Punch Board
This handsome fellow was munching on vegetation along side the road this summer when we were visiting our son, Jeremiah, in Wyoming.
I colored my moose with Crumb Cake and skin Tone Blendabilities for rich, vibrant color. The grasses were colored with Old Olive Blendabilities and I swooshed a Night of Navy Blendability across my card stock for rich, deep blue sky.
It's very rewarding picking up random left over pieces of card stock and designer paper and putting them to use in unexpected ways. Remaining pieces from my envelope and card front made a memorable presentation for the inisde of my card.
