We had quite the surprise last night. Our granddaughter arrived two weeks early. She was supposed to be a May Baby. A little baby really is BIG NEWS. I'll give you details on the card, but first let me show off as only a Grandmother can.
Meet Grace. Grady is Proud as a Peacock to show off his new sister with his mama, Bethany.
Daddy, Jeremiah, is looking quite content with his new daughter.
And here's one more of Grace Olivia. Isn't she beautiful!
Grace makes an even dozen grandchildren for Joe and I.
Since this is a Paper Craft Blog, let's talk a little about the card.
The paper is the lovely Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper. The paper bow was made with the Bow Builder Punch and Watermelon Wonder Card Stock.
The toy stamp (Something for Baby) was inked with markers (Blushing Bride, Watermelon Wonder, Old Olive, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight), moistened with a huff and then stamped.
Cut a piece of paper 6" x 3".
Score at 2", 2-1/4", 3-1/4", 3-1/2", 4-1/2", 4-3/4".
Cut an angle off your rectangle starting at the " Score line going to the edge of the paper about 1-1/4" down.
Fold mountains and valleys and adhere flat to card front.
