Daisy Punch for Making Coneflowers

Daisy Punch Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Good News!  The Daisy Punch is back in stock and is available to order.  Yippee!   The Daisy Punch can be ordered separately or in the Daisy Delight Bundle.   And did you know that the Daisy punch makes more than just daisies?  Today, the Daisy Punch makes a coneflower or Echinacea.

Double Scoop Coneflower

Yes, I am an avid Paper Crafter, but I am also a gardener.  I have been on the alert to find the gorgeous Double Scoop Cranberry Coneflower ever since I saw them on Pinterest.  So far, I have been unable to locate them in any garden center, so I decided to try my hand at creating Paper Double Scoop Coneflowers.   What do you think?  Are they a good likeness?  Love that Daisy Punch!

Daisy Punch Stampin' Up!

Are you wondering how I made Coneflowers with my Daisy Punch?

Daisy Punch

To get the rich color of the Cranberry Double Scoop Coneflower, I stamped my daisy using Berry Burst Ink onto Melon Mambo Card Stock.  Next, I snipped the daisies in half and stacked them.

Dying Yarn for Pompoms

To make the pompom centers, I colored some cotton yarn with my Berry Burst Reinker and a little water.  As you can see the results were fabulous.

Would you like to see the Daisy Delight Bundle as daisies too?

A Little Wild

A Little Wild Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

The A Little Wild Bundle was designed for making Baby Gifts and Cards, but don't stop there.    Lions, Bears and Elephants make terrific cards and gifts for children of all ages.  Today's Birthday Card and Gift Bag was designed for my grandson who soon turns 5.   Scroll down for a Stampin' Up! Video Tutorial using the A Little Wild Bundle.

Handmade with Love

What do you do when you are putting the finishing touches on a really cute project and THIS HAPPENS?  Do you scream and leave the room?  Do you trash it and start all over?  Or do you get creative and add embellishments?  Just as I was adding the last little honey bee, my hand landed in my watercoloring palette and onto my card.  Boo Hoo!  What to do?

A Little Wild Stampin' Up!

My solution....the adorable Balloon Honeycomb Embellishments from the Birthday Memories Suite.  Cute, cute, cute!  Hint:  Apply your balloons with glue dots.

Lincoln

Happy Birthday, Lincoln!
It's hard to believe that you are turning 5 already.

A Little Wild Stamp Set and the Little Loves Framelits dies make adorable gift tags and cards.  Watch the video for more project ideas using the A Little Wild Bundle.

Handmade Child's Birthday Card

I made my Gift Bag with the Gift Bag Punch Board.  Tip:  To make a flap for the top of your bag, simple flip your bag over and punch the top too.

Paper Daisies Pretty Enough for the Garden

Dalsy Delight Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Are you a gardener?  Do you love daisies?  If the answer to either is yes, you are going to love the new Daisy Delight Bundle.  Make Paper Daisies that look almost fresh enough to put in the garden.

Daisy Delight Paper Daisies

The daisies a super simple to make.  It's a matter of stamping and punching with the Daisy Delight stamp set and the coordinating Daisy Punch.  Sometimes, you may want to skip the stamping and go straight to the punching, like I did with my white daisies.

How to Make Paper Daisies

The yellow daisies are So Saffron Card Stock and Daffodil Delight Ink.  And the others are stamped with Daffodil Delight ink on Whisper White Card Stock.  Did you notice the sparkling centers?  They are Gold Faceted Gems.  For a final touch for my project, I stamped "Farmers Market" from the Wood Words stamp set.

The Delightful Daisy punch has been so wildly popular with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, that it has pushed back the available to order date to June 26.  But believe me, it's worth the wait.
