OnStage Display Stamper Projects Day 1 Animal Outings

Animal Outing Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

I let out a little squeal when I received my Display Stamper box of top secret products for the Milwaukee  Stampin' Up! April OnStage Event.  The box was brimming with lots of cool new crafting toys, but my favorite thing of all was the Animal Outing Stamp Set.  The sketches are absolutely adorable and so fun to color and the sentiments were so versatile.  Possibilities began rolling through my head.  As much fun as it was to create with the Animal Outings stamp set, it was equally torturous to not share them with anyone because I love to share.  But the time of secrecy is over which means now it's time to share these Sneak Peeks of products in the upcoming 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.

For those of you that don't know what OnStage is it's an amazing Stampin' Up! Event for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.  We get the inside scoop on things coming, the new catalogs, special ordering privileges, time to catch up with old friends and meet new friends and have lots and lots of fun.   As a Display Stamper, I made samples for the sample boards.  BTW,  the Milwaukee OnStage Event was a blast!

I ended up making 9 projects with the Animal Outing stamp set.  The first 2 projects are Baby Gift Box and a Wild About You Card.  The gorgeous designer paper is Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper and the greenery was cut with the Tropical Thinlits dies.

Animal Outing Stampin' Up!

I simply couldn't resist making a Sliding Barn Door with the charming hippo and his bird pal.

Animal Outing Stampin' Up!

The giraffe, kangaroo and hippo were just begging to be made into a window card.  The little frog on a branch stands alone one the narrow note card.  Did you notice the fun leaf ribbon?

Animal Outing Stampin' Up!

The Kangaroo with the Koala in her pocket celebrates our differences and shows how much we need each other.  They also made a fun stamped background for my scrapbook page of my granddaughter, Lacy.

Animal Outing Stampin' Up!

I had to make at least a few projects with watercoloring and a bit of splattering.  The sentiment is from a stamp set that I'll feature on Day 2.  The sweet little wooden embellishments that I used on numerous project is called Frames Elements.

Animal Outing Stampin' Up!

My name plate was an excellent excuse to use the popular Eclipse Technique.  The fun washi tape is Best Route Washi Tape.  So what do you think?  Are you loving the Animal Outing stamp set as much as I do?

Ride a Bike Framed Art in 20 Minutes

Bike Ride Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

I heard a weather man refer to this as the longest winter ever.  It was 70 plus for about 3 day last week and...believe it or not, it's snowing today.  Seriously, I'm a fan of snow, but certainly not in April.  The daffodils are in full bloom and the lilacs are leafing out.  Bring on the spring weather.  So, even though it snowed a tiny bit today, I chose to ignore it and stamped this Spring Framed Art with the Bike Ride Stamp set and Build a Bike Framelits.

Bike Ride Stampin' Up!

This project was pretty straight forward.  I stamped my bike pieces and flowers.  Then, cut all the pieces with the Build a Bike Framelits dies.  The final piece of the puzzle is the "Life is a beautiful thing" sentiment from the Colorful Season Stamp Set.  I did pop up my pieces with stampin' dimensionals to give my project a bit of dimension.  So you could say that I stamped my framed art.  It was an easy peasy project that I was able to complete in 20 minutes or so.

You can currently get both the Bike Ride Stamp Set and the Build a Bike Framelit dies in a bundle and save 10%, but the bundle price will go away when the 2018 Annual Catalog starts.

Color Challenge

This week's Color Challenge comes from Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge.  The colors are Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Soft Sky. I claim artistic license and I used a few close substitutes and use Rich Razzleberry, Mossy Meadow and Pool Party.  The dessert this week is to add a butterfly and lucky for me the Build a Bike dies includes an adorable butterfly die.

If the weather's got you down, try stamping a spring masterpiece!
