With a husband, 6 sons and 5 grandsons, I felt a need for the Summer Smooches Petite Purse to go masculine.  Here's my rendition of a sportman's pouch/backpack.  Maybe I should have checked with my sons on what to call it. I was so excited to share these with you.  They are so stinkin' cute!

I did promise to get back to stamping today, so here's a Baby Card in celebration of our new Grandson's birth.

 My Daughter-In-Law, Julie, asked me to make her baby shower invitations.  Of course, I was delighted to make them.  Baby cards and scrapbook pages are always a pleasure to make.  Maybe it's because babies are so sweet.  We can't wait to meet the new little fellow.

Julie's chose these Modern Masculine colors.  What a great color combo!

Congrats on Your Baby Boy

It's official.  We received word over the weekend that our 6th Grandchild is a boy!  That puts us at 6 for 6.  With 6 sons of our own, we were delighted to get the news.  Congrats, Jonathan & Julie.  We can't wait to meet the little fellow in July.

Today's Congrats It's a Boy card wheels in with the I Dig You stamp set.  The dump truck and digger were inked with the brush tip end of Basic Gray, Crumb Cake and Night of Navy marker, then stamped.

The edges were cut with the Adorning Accents Edgelits and then embossed with the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder. Add a Bashful Blue Satin Bow along with our tag to say, "Congrats".

Little Additions Baby Card

Card Sketches are a great way to pull yourself out of a creative rut.  Stampin' Up! knows the value of sketches.  My inspiration for today's  Little Additions card comes from the February Stampin' Success a la card template.

The Stampin' Up! Little Additions stamp set was plugged into the card template.  My background is the Striped Embossing Folder.  Choose a color combination and you are almost done.

 

My Calypso Coral heart accent is the Fashionable Hearts embosslit.  They look like candy hearts without the calories. I love that I can simultaneously cut and emboss 5 unique hearts.

 

 

Have you ever ruined a beautiful card stamping your greeting?  It's so frustrating to start over.  That's the beauty of punches.  Stamp your greeting and punch.  The Word Window punch frames the greeting of the Little Additions stamp set perfectly.

Make your Own Baby Announcements

Make your own classic Baby Announcements.  I knew as soon as I saw the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini that I would be making these sweet baby announcements.  What's not to love about them?  

The Baby Prints stamp set is great for baby cards, announcements,baby shower invitations, baby paper craft and baby scrapbooks.  This is one set I just had to have.  I'm thinking beautiful grandbabies.

It  also includes a stamp that says "Cherish the Moments", pure sweetness.
