Tie a Double Bow

It's a Boy, Joy, Oh Joy!  Make a baby card with a lot of punch-that's Punch Art.  Using various sizes of Oval and circle punches create a random design that draws attention to your focal point (Button Buddies- Rattle).

 

Learn to tie a Tiny Double Bow.  They're quick.  They're easy.  And no special tools are needed.  Tie a perfect double bow every time.

  Did you notice the subtle design at the top of my card? Lay your Card Stock on your Borders Scoring Plate, then place overlay over card stock and score.  The overlay has cut-out grooves in identical designs as the Borders Scoring Plate-so cool!

 

Inside I stamped a baby rattle from the Button Buddies Stamp set (available through June 3).  The I stamped "Babies fill your heart with Happy" from the Cuddles & Kisses stamp set.

Two By Two

Baby on the Way, Make a Card to say...Congratulations.  

Our Congratulations Baby Card is so simple to make with the Two by Two stamp. Love all the charming little animals on the ark.  This stamp is really cute watercolored, by it is equally sweet embossed as an outline.  Sadly, the Two by Two stamp is on the Stampin' Up! Retirement List and is only available through June 3.

Change the color of your card base and you go from a Baby Girl Card to a Baby Boy Card just like that.  Animals on the Ark call for a cloudy background, so I dry embossed with the Cloudy Day Embossing Folder from the Spring Catalog.  Surprisingly, the Cloudy Day Embossing folder did not make the cut.  It will not be available after May.

 

White embossing on a colored background really shows off the sweet little animals on the ark and their congratulations.
