Karen started rubber stamping several years ago, but it wasn't until last year during Stampin' Up! Convention that she asked herself what was holding her back  from becoming a Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up! Columbus Regional Event

 

Stampin' Up! Regionals-What a great get-a-way.  Here's part of our group working on our fabulous Make-n-Takes.

The Make-n-Takes were so stinkin' cute this year.  Would you like to see them?

 

Is that cute or what?

The bottom 2 layers of the flower were punched with the Triple Blossom Punch.  For the top layer we stamped the polka-dot kite from the send me soaring stamp set 4 times, then punched 4 small hearts.  The Bitty Button was threaded with Calypso Coral Baker's Twine.

Cute, Cute, Cute and it's interactive too.   The kite is a spinner.  How sweet is that?  The Send Me Soaring Stamp Set was really flying high today.  I just love that I get to play at work.

Stampin' Up! Regional Event

One of the best things about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is getting away from the Rat Race for Stampin' Up! Events.  Today 12 of us are at the Columbus, Ohio Stampin' Up! Regional Event.  Stamping, Swapping, sharing, comparing, Workshop Wows...

To celebrate a day away, I altered Mini Composition Books for taking notes.  These little books are great for stuffing in  your purse.  Composition books are just so much cuter when they are altered.

Welcome to my studio, let's gather supplies & get started

Our covers were personalized with My Digital Studio and the free One Big Sale-A-Bration CD.  So cute and so easy.  Everyone will receive a notebook with her name on it.

A band of hearts dance across the front of our books.  They were dry embossed with the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder.  The Island Indigo backs were dry embossed with the Perfect Polka-Dots Embossing Folder.

I was delighted to discover the the 3/16" corner punch rounded my corners to fit perfectly over my Mini Composition Books.

My Labels Collections Framelits cut beautiful "Twitterpated" spine covers.

A band of Riding Hood Red Pleated Ribbon took my books from okay to "Wow".

Repurpose your flossers to thread Island Indigo Baker's Twine through your Regals Designer Buttons.  Now that's fast and easy!

Congrats on Your Baby Boy

It's official.  We received word over the weekend that our 6th Grandchild is a boy!  That puts us at 6 for 6.  With 6 sons of our own, we were delighted to get the news.  Congrats, Jonathan & Julie.  We can't wait to meet the little fellow in July.

Today's Congrats It's a Boy card wheels in with the I Dig You stamp set.  The dump truck and digger were inked with the brush tip end of Basic Gray, Crumb Cake and Night of Navy marker, then stamped.

My Occasions Alphabet helps me  "say it" for 26 different occasions.

 

The edges were cut with the Adorning Accents Edgelits and then embossed with the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder. Add a Bashful Blue Satin Bow along with our tag to say, "Congrats".

Little Additions Baby Card

Card Sketches are a great way to pull yourself out of a creative rut.  Stampin' Up! knows the value of sketches.  My inspiration for today's  Little Additions card comes from the February Stampin' Success a la card template.

The Stampin' Up! Little Additions stamp set was plugged into the card template.  My background is the Striped Embossing Folder.  Choose a color combination and you are almost done.

 

My Calypso Coral heart accent is the Fashionable Hearts embosslit.  They look like candy hearts without the calories. I love that I can simultaneously cut and emboss 5 unique hearts.

 

 

Have you ever ruined a beautiful card stamping your greeting?  It's so frustrating to start over.  That's the beauty of punches.  Stamp your greeting and punch.  The Word Window punch frames the greeting of the Little Additions stamp set perfectly.

 

 

Mini Clothespins, aren't they just the sweetest?  Clip on your Indigo Island Baker's Twine bow onto your Indigo Island Ruffled Ribbon.  Sweet!
