How to Make a Piggy Valentine

Hugs & Kisses Piggy Valentine

Hello Friends,

I'm still on my love and Valentines Card kick.  Today's Piggy Valentine was made with the This Little Piggy Stamp Set and 3 different framelit die sets-Lovely Words, Stitched Shapes and Sweet & Sassy.  The hearts dies from the Sweet & Sassy framelit dies set have been a mainstay in making Valentines the last couple of weeks.

How to Make a Piggy Valentine

My striped background is a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of the fabulous Petal Passion Designer Series Paper.  Love the bold black and white stripes.

I heat embossed my pig white on red for a striking contrast.

Then I framed him with the hugs die from the Lovely Words die set and a stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Die Set.

The & kisses is part of a stamp from the This Little Piggy Stamp Set.  I inked the part that I wanted to stamp with my Basic Black Marker.

4 Magical Day Kids Valentines

Kids Valentine Ideas

 Hello Friends,

With 14 sweet grandkids, I'm always on the look out for cute kids stamp sets and the Magical Day fits the bill.  There's something for boys and girls alike.  Today, the Magical Day Stamp set was instrumental in making these 4 adorable kids Valentines.

Magical Day Stampin' Up!

Several of my grandkids enjoy the popular How to Train a Dragon Show, so they should enjoy this adorable dragon.  I colored her with Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends.  Next, came shimmer and shine.  I cut my heart with the Sweet & Sassy Thinlits Dies and Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper.  Wow, what gorgeous glimmer paper!  The shine is a silver Foil Doily.

DIY Kids Valentine

What little boy doesn't image himself a knight in shining armor?  My knight Valentine was made much the same way as the Dragon Valentine above.  The backgrounds were embossed with the sparkle embossing folder (dragon) and the Brick Wall embossing folder (Knight).

Unicorn Valentine

Valentine number 3 sports a trendy unicorn.  Instead of embossing a background.  I used the Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper.

Mermaid Valentine

I have it on good authority that the Mermaid Trend will continue into 2018.  I think my granddaughters will love the sweet mermaid and seahorse.  I tucked my mermaid in a line of waves cut with a die from the Magical Mates Dies.

Party Pandas Stampin' Up!

I'm not sure what's the happiest part of this Valentine.  Is it the frolicking pandas or the colorful balloon paper or the dazzling glimmer paper or is it the Lemon Lime Twist Bitty Bow?  But what I like best of all is the delightful way that all these fun elements play together with the other.

Party Pandas Stampin' Up!

I'll have a complete list of supplies for today's card at the bottom of this post, but let me mention a few here.  The balloon paper is from the delightfully happy Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper Stack.  And the stamp set is a Free Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Party Pandas.
