Hello Moon or Honey Bear Card?

Hello Moon or Honey Bear

Hello Friends,

Hello Moon or Honey Bear Card?  Which Card speaks to your?  Today's cards feature the sweet little bear from the A Little Wild Bundle.  The first card reminds me of the children's bedtime story by Francesca Simon, Hello Moon.  What can I say, I love children's books and besides it makes a great Hello Card.  Hello there, Honey Bear is the second card and it speaks for itself.  Will the bear go after the honey?  Such cuteness!

Honey Bear Card

The A Little Wild Bundle was designed with tags in mind.  Because of that, there is a front and back to 3 sweet animals-a lion, a bear and an elephant.  Today's cards focus on the bear.  The Honey Bear Card shares the bear's front side.

Hello Moon Card

And the Hello Moon Card focuses on the bear's rear view.  Did you notice the fun night sky complete with moon and stars?  It was made with a die from the Card Front Builders dies.  Which is just one example of how you can stretch your crafting dollars by using the Card Front Builder Dies from the Carols of Christmas Bundle throughout the year.  Plus, it's a super cute card!

A Little Wild Stampin' Up!

I swiped the branch stamp from the Colorful Seasons Stamp set to making the branch to hang my beehive.  The complimentary woodgrain paper is from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack.

Paper Players

Both cards fit nicely with this week's Paper Player's Great Outdoors challenge, don't you think?

This Little Piggy Never Give Up Card

This Little Piggy Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Today's card was inspired by our recent visit to Georgia to see family.  Our grandsons were learning about not giving up and growing their brain by trying new things.  The highlight of their study was this enormously funny Video- Ormie the Pig.  Of course, they had to share the video with us and we laughed so hard we cried.  Now it's time for me to share a funny card with them.  The This Little Piggy stamp set combined with the Ready to Pop stamp set combined nicely to make this NEVER GIVE UP card.

This Little Piggy Stampin' Up!

I colored the flying pig boldly with Flirty Flamingo ink.  The signs are a combination of sentiments from the This Little Piggy stamp set and the Ready to Pop stamp set.  I inked up the portions that I wanted for my signs with a Basic Black Marker and punched them out with the Classic Label Punch.

This Little Piggy Stampin' Up!

Joe and I were tickled when Lincoln and Levi tried something new at the park and hollered down at us, "Look, I'm growing my brain".    If you are inspired to try this card, you'll find the supply list at the bottom of this post.

The Challenge

Thanks to Always Playing With Paper for The Challenge Inspirations.  I was inspired by the fun colors and the signs.  For today's card I used Flirty Flamingo, Tempting Turquoise and Lemon Lime Twist.

Cool Treats Milestone Birthday Card

Handmade Milestone Birthday Card

Hello Friends,

How many Birthday Cards do you send in a year?  Handmade cards are the best.  They say, "You're worth the effort".  Plus, they can be personalized to fit any occasion.  Today's card is for a milestone birthday, so I personalized it with the large numbers dies and the Cool Treats stamp set.  Perfect for a 10 year old's summer birthday.

Hunter

Can't believe our oldest Grandson is 10 already.  Time flies when you're having fun.  Happy Birthday, Hunter!

Birthday Memories

Hunter's nickname is bear, so naturally I thought of the adorable bear in the Birthday Memories Designer Paper.  I did have to fussy cut him, but he was worth it.  Isn't he adorable?

Cool Treats Stampin' Up!

Robin's Card Making Tips

To make two tones of strawberries, I stamped off to make the lighter berry.  They were both stamped with Berry Burst Ink.  Tip:  I find it easiest to stamp both the strawberry tops and the popsicle sticks after they are cut (Frozen Treats dies).

The ice cream is So Saffron ink stamped off for a rich Vanilla look.   For a complete list of supplies scroll to the bottom of this post.
