Love the new Gingham Garden Suite.  And with spring in the air, a Garden Party was the perfect theme for today's Ink-Spiration Meeting.  We'll be celebrating and sharing the new catalog.  Appropriately enough, I started with Mini Milk Cartoon Bird Houses.

Paper Bird House Tips

• Cut Mini Milk Carton and roll with the Music Notes Wheel.  After all, when I think birds I think beautiful melodies.
• Fashion a roof with Early Espresso Coordinations Paper and the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.  Sand to expose the core of your paper.
• Punch your bird with the Bird Builder Punch & the lovely Gingham Garden Designer Paper.
• Since we will be exploring the 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Catalog today, I chose the "and it's all REALLY good" stamp from the Really Good Greeting Stamp set.

Hot Air Balloon Lands Nearby

 

Look what flew over our house yesterday.  This Hot Air Balloon landed  on a farm near our home.  So we went balloon chasing.

 

Maybe the most amusing part of our adventure was when we noticed the cows in the field near where the balloon landed.  Everyone of them had their heads turned in the direction of the balloon just staring.  It was quite comical, like something out of a cartoon.

Autumn's Exuberance

Autumn is not the shy kid in town.The  bold bursts of color and memory evoking smells of harvest usher in a new season.   Cool refreshing nights bring a new burst of energy.

It's time to break open the wrapper of my Autumn Accents Bigz Die from the Holiday Mini and make an autumn Thank You Card.

Robin's Card Tips

• For a tree like background, I embossed my Early Espresso Core`dinations Card Stock with my Woodgrain embossing folder and my Big Shot.  
• Next, I sanded to expose the core of my paper and produce a rough tree like texture.
• My leaves were die-cut with my Autumn Accents Bigz Die and my Big Shot.
• To add variety to the mix I used Comfort Cafe Designer paper and a variety of coordinating card stock
• Don't you just the handsome bow?  It's Comfort Cafe Designer Fabric!
