Puffs of Dandelion Wishes

Dandelion Wishes Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

What's not to love about the whimsical, carefree Dandelion Wishes stamp set?   Sometimes it's fun to go against convention and embrace your wild side.  Dandelions stir up nostalgic thoughts.  As a little girl, I would make a wish and blow the dandelion puffs to the wind.  Now we can bring that same magic to our paper crafts with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set.

Dandelion Wishes Stampin' Up!

I created the stitched square and the complimenting frame with the Stitched Shapes and Layering Square Dies.  It seemed only right to make things a little less than perfect, so I frayed the ends of my Baker's Twine bow just a bit.

For my background I spritzed Coastal Cabana ink mixed with a bit of water onto my Shimmery White Card Stock Background and, presto, my card is ready to send Well Wishes through the mail.

Healing Hugs A Quick & Easy Card

Healing Hugs Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Today's card is a super simple card to make with a whole lot of impact.  I'm always on the look out for a great Get Well Stamp set and I love the Healing Hugs photorealistic stamp set.

The Healing Hugs distinctive stamp set was made using  a patent pending manufacturing process to create photorealistic stamps that can't be found anywhere else on the market.  Watch as Tanner from the Stampin' Up! Home Office explains more about Distinctive stamps as well as a few techniques for using them.

Healing Hugs Stampin' Up!

For today's card, I simply stamped my flowers using Daffodil Delight Ink and I stamped my leaves using Pear Pizzazz ink.  I stamped the sentiment using Old Olive ink to give it a little more pop.  The Shimmery White Card Stock offers and lot of shimmer, but added even more by painting over my flowers and leaves with my Wink of Stella brush.  The label was cut with the Stitched Labels Framelit Dies.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping Country.  See you tomorrow.

Have a fabulous day,

So Many Shells Stampin' Up!

About Today's Card

First, I watercolored a soft Wild Wasabi background, then I splattered a bit of Chocolate Chip ink with my brush.

The shells and sand dollar were stamped with the So Many Shells Stamp set which also made the Stampin' Up! Last Chance or Retiring List.  The So Many Shells is a 2-Step Stamp set.  I stamped the first layer of the Conch with Powder Pink Ink and the Second layer with Crumb Cake Ink.  The Sand dollar was stamped with Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip Ink and the shells were stamped with Powder Pink and Chocolate Chip Ink.

I made the frame with the Layering Squares dies and my Big Shot.  The wavy background was embossed with the Dynamic Impressions Emboss Folder.
