Let's talk about color. Have a passion for color? So do I. Let's explore where this Color Combination was birthed. It all started.......
...with the unsightly pile of mail stacked on my counter top. Do you ever get tired of mail cluttering your counter? I do. It was time to reclaim my counter, so I carved out a tiny spot to set up as a family drop spot. Here's how my project began. A $2 yard sale find transforms with a bit of paint.
Side Note, did you happen to notice that Baked Brown Sugar closely resembles my Aged Amber walls?
Clearly, Emerald Pantone Color of the Year for 2013 is more green and Bermuda Bay is more blue, but both evoke images of warm oceans and rich jewel tones.
Sonora Rose and Arizona Dust were my other 2 paint color choices for my dresser remake. Sonora Rose bears a close resemblance to Primrose Petals. And Arizona Dust is a softer shade of Crisp Cantalope.
Let's not forget our card. I fashioned cute little owls with my owl builder punch and my chosen colors. My tree was carved out with Early Espresso Coordinations paper, my Woodgrain Embossing Folder and a bit of light sanding.
And what's a tree without leaves? The Bird Builder Punch and a scrap of Pistachio Pudding Card Stock were all that I needed.
