4 Magical Day Kids Valentines

Kids Valentine Ideas

 Hello Friends,

With 14 sweet grandkids, I'm always on the look out for cute kids stamp sets and the Magical Day fits the bill.  There's something for boys and girls alike.  Today, the Magical Day Stamp set was instrumental in making these 4 adorable kids Valentines.

Magical Day Stampin' Up!

Several of my grandkids enjoy the popular How to Train a Dragon Show, so they should enjoy this adorable dragon.  I colored her with Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends.  Next, came shimmer and shine.  I cut my heart with the Sweet & Sassy Thinlits Dies and Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper.  Wow, what gorgeous glimmer paper!  The shine is a silver Foil Doily.

DIY Kids Valentine

What little boy doesn't image himself a knight in shining armor?  My knight Valentine was made much the same way as the Dragon Valentine above.  The backgrounds were embossed with the sparkle embossing folder (dragon) and the Brick Wall embossing folder (Knight).

Unicorn Valentine

Valentine number 3 sports a trendy unicorn.  Instead of embossing a background.  I used the Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper.

Mermaid Valentine

I have it on good authority that the Mermaid Trend will continue into 2018.  I think my granddaughters will love the sweet mermaid and seahorse.  I tucked my mermaid in a line of waves cut with a die from the Magical Mates Dies.

February 14 Mini Pizza Box of Valentine Chocolates

Handmade Valentine Gift

Hello Friends,

Show your Valentine some love with this DIY mini pizza box filled with creamy chocolates.  Mini Pizza Boxes are also just the right size for a fresh home baked cookie.  With a little paper crafting magic a mini pizza box becomes a Valentine gift to remember.

Handmade Valentine Gift

The inside of the Mini Pizza Boxes are food safe, so they can be filled with home baked goodies, but for this Valentine Gift I filled the box with creamy Dove Chocolates.  Just for fun, I stamped "you're so sweet enjoy a treat" from the You're So Sweet Stamp set on the inside of the lid.

A box is just a box until it's dressed up with pretty paper, stamping and ribbon.  First, I cut a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of cute painted with Love Designer Paper.  Love the pretty colors, patterns and gold foil of this paper.  The swirly heart was cut with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlets dies.  Hint:  For better success with finely detailed dies use the Precision  Base.  I stamped the bird and cut the other pieces with the Petal Palette Bundle.  For added pop I heat embossed "I Just Love You" on Melon Mambo card stock.  As a finishing touch, I made a double bow with Calypso Coral Shimmer Ribbon.  This gorgeous ribbon was a FREE Sale-a-bration gift.

Jar of Love Card for Valentine's Day

Jar of Love Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

If you have been following my blog, you may have noticed that I have been doing a string of "Love You" cards or Valentines.  Even though saying I Love You is a 365 days a year thing, love you cards seems especially appropriate now with Valentine's Day just 2 weeks away.

For today's card, I use the Jar of Love stamp set without the jar.  Instead, I framed my bouquet with a window frame and a heart.

Handmade Valentine by Robin Feicht
The window frame is the Hearth & Home Framelits Dies and the heart is the Sunshine Wishes Dies.  I did snag the "I love you" stamp from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set, because I really like the font and it fits the windowsill so well.

How to Make a Valentine

My color choices are bright and cheerful-Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach, Old Olive and Garden Green.  The Brick Wall is Smoky Slate.
