Card Making Thru 4 Seasons

For All Things Autumn Card

It's so simple making cards thru the seasons.  To jump start the challenge, I used the same sketch for all my cards.  Last week we used the Wonderous Wreath Bundle to make 7 Different Seasonal Cards.  This week we'll focus on a sketch and a Color Challenge.

Let's start our Card Parade with an Autumn Card.  This year we have a bumper crop of acorns here in the Midwest, so I thought I would focus on the acorn from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  I used the Banner Framelits to make my banners.  You'll notice that I extended the banners to make them larger. To do this, slip a strip of paper inside the framelit pulling the flat or top edge over the top of the framelit so that it doesn't cut the paper at the top.

Card Supplies:  For All Things Stamps; Autumn Accents Bigz Dies & Banner Framelits; Designer Series Paper stack in Regals, Neutrals and Brights; Cajun Craze & Crushed Curry Ink;  Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine; Crushed Curry & Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock

White Christmas

Next Up, a Winter Card. I changed up the stamps, punches and dies for each season.  For the Winter/Christmas Card I used the White Christmas and the That's the Ticket Stamps. The featured punch is the Duo Ticket Punch.  I have to admit I had a hard time working in the Island Indigo, but I was pleased with my Island Indigo and Kraft tickets.  The "Brrr" is a Framelit from the Snowflake Card Thinlit Dies.

Card Supplies:  White Christmas & That's the Ticket stamps; Duo Ticket Punch & Snowflake Card Thinlit Dies;  Kraft, Whisper White and Lost Lagoon card stock; All is Calm Designer Washi Tape; Island Indigo & Tuxedo Black Ink; Lost Lagoon Satin Ribbon, Cherry Cobber Baker's Twine and Venetian Crochet Trim; Old Olive, Smoky Slate and Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities; Very Vintage Buttons

Kinda Eclectic

A Spring Time Card.  For my spring card I focused on the Kinda Eclectic stamps & my Elegant Butterfly Punch.

Card Supplies-Kinda Eclectic and A Dozen Thoughts stamps; Elegant Butterfly Punch; So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink; Pearl Jewels and 2013-2015 In Color Sequins; Subtles & 2013-2015 In Color Designer Series Paper Stacks; Pistachio Pudding and Whisper White Card Stock; Linen Thread; Sweet Sadie Designer Washi Tape

Groovy Love

You Make My Heart Go Boom Boom Summer Card-June is often thought of as the Wedding month, so I thought I would do a "My Heart Goes Boom Boom Card for summer.  I featured the Groovy Love stamps and the Sweetheart Punch.

Card Supplies:  Groovy Love Stamps; Sweetheart Punch; Subtles, Brights & 2014-2016 In Color Designer Series Paper Stacks; Whisper White & Blushing Bride card stock; Mossy Meadow Ink; Brights Designer Buttons & Candy Dots; Whisper White Baker's Twine

See how easy peasy it is to stretch across the season to make cards.

Mojo Monday

I used the same Mojo Monday Sketch for all 4 cards
