Is it Lavender or is it Lilacs?

Lots of Lavender Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

I know that the Stampin' Up! Lots of Lavender stamp set is supposed to be lavender, but I have an active imagination and I can almost smell the lilacs.  Can you see the lilacs too!  Do you have a favorite spring flower?  If smell were the leading criteria, I would have to choose lilacs.

The Lots of Lavender is one of many Free Sale-a-bration products that you can earn with a qualifying purchase.  Keep reading for hot news on this front.

Stampin' Up! New Flash!  Three new Sale-a-bration products will be added tomorrow and they are Slam Dunk Fabulous!  There's basket weave embossing folder, a Springtime Foils Paper and a gorgeous new stamp set called Blooming Baskets.  They are yummy!

Side Note-Other happy news that you may not know, the Basket Weave Embossing Folder and the Celebrate You Thinlits dies will carry over to the 2018 Annual Catalog.

Lots of Lavender Stampin' Up!

It doesn't matter whether you see lavender or lilacs, the Lots of Lavender stamp set is beautiful and full of possibilities.  It's a two step stamp set.  For today's card I stamped Sweet Sugarplum ink and then with back and layers lots of Berry Burst dots.  Those little dots pack a lot of punch just look at the depth that they created.   They Shimmery silver brick were done with embossing paste.  See the video below for tips and tricks on how to use embossing paste.

I used the shimmery silver embossing paste for today's card and I did notice that the shimmery paste has a longer dry time.  Hint:  You can dry your paste faster with your heat tool

Hello Friends,

You're going to love the Eclipse Technique and the Hedgehugs cuteness!

Eclipse Card Technique

To make the letters pop, you will need to cut 3 extra sets of letters in a contrasting color.  I chose Wisteria Wonder for today's Card.  I used the Large Letter Framelits Dies to cut my letters.
