Big News It's Your Birthday

  Big News

The "It's your Birthday" stamp from the Big News Stamp set is quickly becoming my go to stamp for Birthday Cards.  And a 97th Birthday is Big News.

Petite Petals Stampin' Up!

The Polka Dot paper from the All is Calm Designer Series Paper Pack makes me happy every time I use it.  And happy is what I wanted for today's Milestone Birthday Card.

97th Birthday Card

It's not everyday that someone you know turns 97.   A very dear friend, more like a sweet grandmother, turned 97 this month.  Of course, that calls for an extra special, extra large birthday card.  The balloon is the Oval cut out left over from the front of the card and the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack

Paper-Piercing is so, so easy with templates.  Get nice, neat spacing with little effort. And Stampin' Up! is offering several set of Paper-piercing templates as part of their Weekly Deals.  Sha-zam!

Making Matching Envelopes

I love that I can make cards of any shape and size and not have to worry about finding an envelope.  With the Envelope Punch Board envelopes are a snap to make.  Today's birthday card is a 5" x 6" oversize card.

Such a pretty card Robin. Love the oval window with those sweet flowers. The ribbon/twine/button element looks awesome. Thank you for playing along with us at The Color Throwdown.
