How to Make a Card That Moves
Farmers Market Stack of Cards

Vintage Leaves & Emboss Resist Stamping Technique

Vintage Leaves

Love the exquisite lines of the Vintage Leaves Stamp set.  These stamps are perfect for the Emboss Resist Technique.

Emboss Resist Stamping Technique

Emboss Resist

Step one, heat emboss your stamped images.  The gold embossing of the Vintage Leaves just about took my breath away.  Stunning!  I cut the leaves with the Leaflets Framelits and my Big Shot.

Emboss Resist

The final step, sponge on ink across your stamped images.  The embossed areas will resist the ink.  To make your leaves just a little bit more realistic, try curling a few of the edges with your Bone Folder.

Vintage Leaves

Leaves aren't just for autumn.  Today's card is a Wedding/Anniversary Card.  Love, Love, Love the Happily Hitched stamp from the Happy Happenings Stamp set.

My beautiful Love Heart is from the You're So Sweet Stamp set.  And you may have noticed a bit of grunge, that's the ever useful Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set.

Layers of texture were created with White Corrugated Paper, Tea Lace Doilies and Delightful Dijon Lace Trim.

Bundle & Save 15%- This year's Stampin' Up! Catalog has more bundles than ever including the Vintage Leaves Bundle used on today's card.  See all of this year's bungles Here
