Beauty of the Earth Suite

Hello Friends,

Wow!  The Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper is stunning!  Merry Merlot, Cinnamon Cider, Bumble Bee, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Misty Moonlight meld together in beautiful patterns.  It's so easy to make stunning handmade cards with this designer paper.  The dies and the stamps are from the Beauty of Friendship Bundle which I introduced in yesterday's blog post with a stamping only card.

 

While yesterday's card was centered around the Beauty of Friendship stamp set, today's Slimline Card focuses on the Beautiful Trees dies and the Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper.  Love these soothing colors and patterns!

Hint: I get my best results when stamping directly onto designer paper if I use my Stamparatus for stamping.

Yes, I have been AWOL for quite some time.  It's been a whirlwind of activity here, but I am back with a Snowman Season Card.

60th Anniversary Card

Hello Friends,

We have some dear friends who recently celebrated their 6oth Wedding Anniversary.  That extraordinary!  An occasion of such important calls for a handmade card that's beyond the norm.  Somehow a standard A2 or 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" card seemed too ordinary, so I made a slimline Card with some of my favorite Designer Papers-Expressions in Ink and Shimmer Vellum.  Then, I personalized the card using my Playful Alphabet Dies and gold foil paper.  What is the symbol for 60th Anniversaries anyway?  I know that it is gold for 50 and silver for 25.
