Hello Friends,
When you think of fresh juicy peaches do you think happy summer thoughts? I do. The Sweet As A Peach stamp set really captures all things peachy with stamps, ink and paper. Receiving this handmade card in the mail sure to bring happy thoughts and a smile.
Sweet As A Peach Card Tips and Trick
To make the peaches look more peachy, ink up your peach stamp with Pale Papaya ink, then before stamping add a bit of Calypso Coral ink to the stamp. Notice the two-toned look.
Our peach trees had blossoms a few weeks ago and one thing that struck me was how pink the blossoms were. We just planted 2 Dwarf Peach Trees last spring and already they have little peaches forming. Exciting! Anyway, back to the Sweet As A Peach Card, ink the blossoms using Polished Pink ink, but stamp off. Simply put, stamp on a scrap paper and then onto your card stock. Stamping Off makes your ink half strength.
Are you loving the cute scalloped rectangles? Yep, I love them too! They were cut with the new Scalloped Contours Dies.
For the look of water droplets glistening on my peach, I added the little clear things from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack.
Finally, I'm crushin' on the Balmy Blue stripes next to the Pale Papaya card stock. The paper is from the You're a Peach Designer Paper pack.
