60th Anniversary Card

Hello Friends,

We have some dear friends who recently celebrated their 6oth Wedding Anniversary.  That extraordinary!  An occasion of such important calls for a handmade card that's beyond the norm.  Somehow a standard A2 or 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" card seemed too ordinary, so I made a slimline Card with some of my favorite Designer Papers-Expressions in Ink and Shimmer Vellum.  Then, I personalized the card using my Playful Alphabet Dies and gold foil paper.  What is the symbol for 60th Anniversaries anyway?  I know that it is gold for 50 and silver for 25.

Artistically Inked Hand Stamped Card

Hello Friends,

The Artistically Inked stamp set is a very satisfying stamp set to use especially with a pretty stack of inks.  Today's hand stamped card looks really involved, but it's mostly stamping with a bit of die cutting.  The leaves was cut with the Artistic dies that come in the Artistically Inked Bundle.  The scalloped rectangle and the scalloped trim are dies from the Scalloped Contour die set.

About those colors, I used Pale Papaya (rounded flower and flower center), Polished Pink (bog flower and small trio of flowers), Magenta Madness (dots), Evening Evergreen (upper leaves and hello), and Pear Pizzazz (lower leaf). 

The designer paper used for the scalloped trim is the Expressions in Ink Designer Paper.  Gorgeous!  Love the artistic look, the beautiful color and the gold highlights!

Ooh!  La La!  Have you seen the 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum?  It's delicious!  I'm not sure if the picture does it justice, but the die cut leaves were cut from the Soft Succulent Vellum.  The translucent shimmer is something to behold.
