Okay, I have held off remarkably well, but now it's time to start Countdown Sneak Peeks from the January-June 2021 Stampin' Up! Catalogs.  As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to preorder new products from the upcoming January-June 2021 Catalogs before they launch on January 5, 2021.  It's taken a lot of restraint to hold back the Sneak Peeks, but now it's time to show off the goods!  

The Closeout Sale for outgoing holiday products is going on for a few more days or While Supplies Last.  Then on January 4, it's Good-Bye Holiday Products and on January 5 it's hello 2021 Products!

To make this yummy strawberry treat holder, I used a piece of the gorgeous Berry Delightful Designer Paper and the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Die.  You will be delighted to know that the Berry Blessings stamp set along with the Berry Delightful Designer Paper is FREE with a $100 purchase during Sale-a-bration (January 5- February 2021 page 14).  Then I topped off my 3D strawberry using the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set and Strawberry Builder Punch from the January-June 2021 Catalog.

Sneak Peek New 2021 Stampin' Up! Catalogs

Hello Friends,

Wow, that felt amazing to type 2021 in today's title.  How would you like a Sneak Peek from the newest Stampin' Up! Catalog that is set to launch in January 2021?  We made these 3 cards with the Dragonfly Garden stamps at our Virtual Stampin' Up! OnStage in November.  Stampin' Up! events and Sneak Peeks are just two of the many perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  

Did I mention that you will be able to purchase the Dragon Garden stamps as a bundle with a dragonfly punch when the catalog launches in January 2021?  If you looked closely you may have noticed that the big dragonfly was punched from the new Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper.  Yay!

In fact, all 3 cards feature little pieces of the Dandy Garden paper.  On this card, the dragonfly has been stamped with Bumblebee ink and then punched with the Dragonfly punch.

In addition to punching big dragonflies, you will also be able to punch bitty dragonflies with the Dragonfly punch.  My favorite stamp from this new stamp set is probably the wildflower garden stamp pictured on this card. Beautiful!

With all this talk about 2021 catalogs, I bet you would like to see them for yourself.  Yes, I did say catalogs!  In addition to the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, the January-February Sale-a-bration catalog is also launching in January and.....

What's the BIG Deal About Slimline Cards?

Slimline Card fit nicely in standard #9 or #10 envelopes that are readily available in almost any store.

You can fit more design elements on a Slimline card.

Do you find yourself bored with the standard size card?  Try a Slimline Card.  This tall narrow card is a refreshing change of pace.  Of course, there's also the option of making Slimline Cards on a smaller scale, but we will talk about that another day.

Slimline Card Measurements

Cut Card Base 8-1/2" x 7-1/2".  Note 8-1/2" is the height of the card.  Score at 3-3/4".

After cutting your card base from an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of card stock, you will have a piece leftover that works nicely for a front panel.  I trimmed mine to 8" x 3-1/4".  Then I dry embossed the front panel with my Subtle Embossing Folder for just a hint of texture.

Notice the two different options that I used for my leaves border.  The leaves can be stamped and then colored or they can be stamped directly on colored card stock.  Both options are pretty.  I used Just Jade card stock and Just Jade Stampin' Blends for today's cards.
